Spend a day out in the beautiful village of Stoke Bruerne and visit the Canal Museum housed in an historic corn mill. Enjoy a free audio-guide and learn about the history of the waterways and understand the rich history of the Grand Union Canal. Look at the wonderful selection of models of working boats, traditional clothing and beautiful old signs while you are there. But if you fancy sitting down for a while, why not watch a couple of films showing early footage of working boats and then after take a stroll outside to see the narrowboat ‘Sculptor’.
