Poppy Garden Cottage
If you fancy peace and tranquillity, then visit this beautiful one-acre garden surrounded by vibrant colours and scents. Enjoy a wide variety of bulbs, herbs, grasses, shrubs and colour-themed exotic plants and flowers. There is also a small orchard on site with unusual ducks and Mandarin chickens.
Sit and enjoy this inspirational plantman’s garden that was created by Tina Primmer and her husband, Dave. The garden was originally a derelict plot full of old sheds and rubbish, so they decided to set to work and design a garden to give as much colour all year road. Then years later the opportunity rose to buy a field next it so they decided to combine the old and the new, and viola, after lots of hard work they made the garden what it is today. The BBC has also featured it in a programme.
The garden, set in the picturesque Roseland Peninsula, is a wonderful place to visit for the whole family.
