Housed within a 1950s dockside transit shed, M Shed is an exciting and innovative new museum for Bristol telling the story of the city through the people who helped to shape it.
There are rich collections of objects, art and archives which bring these stories to life in three galleries: Bristol Places, Bristol People and Bristol Life. You can also jump onboard an old double-decker bus, sit in a WWII bomb shelter or take a ride on M Shed’s largest exhibits – the cranes, train and boats, operating on the dockside from Easter to end of October.
There is also a temporary exhibition gallery displaying changing exhibitions throughout the year!
Opening Times: M Shed is closed on Mondays (except Bristol School holidays and bank holiday Mondays)
Costs: Free Admission
