As well as having international recognition as an angling venue, the pier saw major improvements in 2009 with a new-look café-bar. The award-winning design features a pier-end café bar with timber frames, edge walls made of glass, and a range of environmentally friendly features.
The pier also has popular fishing and ice cream shops and is in walking distance of Deal town centre.
Owned by Dover District Council, Deal Pier is a Grade II listed landmark and public amenity in the popular seaside town of Deal.

• Parking bays are located within walking distance of the pier, costs may apply.
