Clayton Hall - Living History Museum
Clayton Hall is a grade 11* listed building set in Clayton Park. Once the home of Manchester business man and benefactor Humphrey Chetham, the founder of Chethams School and Library.
Part of the Hall has been dressed to represent a Victorian home and offers a hands on experience of everyday Victorian life.
Visits to Clayton Hall are fun and enjoyable and young visitors are encouraged to dress in the Victorian costumes provided, to help bring the experience to life.
They also organise and run school and group visits which can be arranged to meet the needs of all ages and abilities and at a time to suit you.

Opening Times: The Hall is open to the public on the 1st and 3rd Saturday’s of the month (please see their website for times).
