This hidden gem near Brampton Park has a wonderful eclectic collection of objects that relate to the history and the people of Newcastle-under-Lyme. You can also learn how this borough survived during two world wars.
Peer through Victorian shop windows and see what goods they used to sell. You may even recognise some of your own favourite items. You can also see a few scary looking instruments in the doctor’s surgery and all sorts of quirky items in the pawnbroker’s shop. In the chemist’s shop there are some weird and wonderful ‘cures’ you can wonder about. Also in the toy gallery, there is an amazing collection of cuddly bears, dolls and toys.
